Obscure Lunar Conundrums

Day 28 - It bugs me that the camera obliterated the top left of this image in darkness. It bugs me more that I don’t know how to fix it without making it look like shit. Really enjoyed this whole challenge!

Day 27 - Another random man. Hate his mouth. Apart from that, happy.

Day 26 - Random man. The hands weird, I’m not sure if its because the arms not all there, or its the proportion/perspective/lack of depth in the image at that point. Like I said, I need to ‘do’ hands at some point, but its hard…

Day 25 - It’s DEXTER!! I really enjoyed doing this, and I think it shows. Its the first time I’ve drawn someone and it actually looks like them, although I think the ridiculously posed expression has a lot to do with it!

Day 24 - I enjoyed rendering the fabric so much that I ignored the face. Pretty pleased with the effect.

Day 23 - Self portrait. Scary times!

Day 22 - Its Chris Evans rock-climbing. The right hand shoulder looks weird, this is how it was in the picture, but I think I overworked the red, so it looks like he’s got bones in the wrong places, whereas in actuality its only different ridges between the muscle.

Torso in trois crayons. Pretty happy with this, apart from the arms. I know I need to make a proper study of arms and hands at some point, but I’m scared, haha.

Day 20 - Thought I’d attempt a bucket. Only two people in the world know why this is funny, and I’m one of them. Its okay, found it pretty hard to render plastic convincingly though.

Day 19 - Brain. Trois crayons on pastel paper.
